I suffer from contamination OCD and if anyone has any successful recovery tips please let me know?~
I’m afraid of the feeling of contamination itself. More specifically, afraid that I don’t keep track of the contamination and keep it from spreading, then everything could become contaminated, and thus the feeling of contamination would become inescapable.
My psychiatrist has put me on SSRI’s but each one I try gives me diarrhea….

I tried Sertraline then Citalopram. They both gave me diarrhoea. My GP put me on Propranolol and luckily it hasn’t given me diarrhoea. It only keeps you calm so an antidepressant is preferable. My GP suggested taking antidepressant in halves to start. My next antidepressant I will try is Clomipramine. But currently I am using the Flow Headset from Flow neuroscience which sends electricity to the brain via a headset. I have had minimal discomfort from using it.
